How are refunds handled differently?
When money comes back from a purchase, Sphinx links it to the original transaction instead of treating it as income. The refund reduces spending in that purchase’s category, so your income, budgets and reports stay accurate, even when the refund lands in a later month.
Can I use more than one currency?
Yes. Each account has its own currency, and Sphinx converts everything to your home currency using historical exchange rates, so past transactions are valued at the rate on the day they happened.
How does sharing with a partner work?
Create a household and invite the people you share costs with. You can split any transaction between members, see who paid what, and settle up whenever you like.
Can I bring my data from another app?
Yes. Import your transaction history from a CSV file, and export your data whenever you want. It’s yours.
Is my data safe?
